HADES chapter one

Chapter One


"Takamura! Wake up!" I heard before getting smacked in the head. "I wasn't asleep Sir..." I mumbled. I sat up straight to show the work completed. My science teacher blushed. "Oh... um sorry Takamura-san!" he said. I sighed. "Whatever..." I mumbled.

RIING! RIING!

The annoying bell. The bell every one loved. It signaled school closing and finally every could go back home! What bull. I hated home. Oh yea. I haven't introduced myself. I am Kyo Takamura. Your friendly school emo and suicidal. Cause I was. I guess I should tell you what I look like too. Well I have short black hair. And black eyes. I'm sixteen and I live alone with my Homicidal abusive dad. And guess what! I'm the only one who knows that he killed my mom! But if I tell anyone he'll kill me. Great dad huh? Anyway I just walked home. Cross the street, look both ways, hopefully a car doesn't see you and crashes into you so you have a quick and painless death. Yep! That was me. My life is boring and has no meaning. At least to me that is.

Usual routine when I get home. Go upstairs. take a shower. Change into something comfortable. Go downstairs. Make dinner for dad. Grab a snack. Go back to room. That was me. Of course I didn't anticipate my father coming home early. "Oh... hi dad..." I said when he came into the kitchen. "Whatever boy. What's for dinner?" he asked. "Onigiri..." I said. "You know I hate Onigiri!" he yelled at me. Wow. Short fuse. "I know.... but mommy loved it..." I mumbled. That made dad ticked off. He punched me in the side of the head and grabbed the knife from the woden block things that you put them in. Of course being me I thought he was going to stab me. But then he said: "Say anything like that again and your dead boy..." Yea I wanted to laugh at him. Really kill my mother and not kill the key witness. Wow. But did that... scare me? After I made him dinner AGAIN! i went upstairs to my room and watched T.V. But was I really scared? Heh... No way not you Kyo.... I sighed and looked at a picture of me when i was eight, my mom, and my dad when he was sober. I was in my Little League Baseball uniform. That was when I hit the winning run. Now I'm like a pro at baseball. I sighed again for the upteenth time. 'Better get ready for bed...' I thought and got ready for bed. I had no idea what was in for me the next day...

I sighed and looked at him. Gosh he should run away. His father was going to... No don't belive it! "Hey sis? Are you okay?" my twin brother asked me. I twirled the sigth around a bit. "Yea I'm fine... Just worried." I replied. My brother walked walked over to me and put his hand on my cheek. "on't worry. If it's to be done then it's to be done. We can't change what the gods wish." he told me. I nodded. "Yes... I know..."
